Samburu Serena Lodge is located in Samburu National Reserve in a strategic location overlooking the jugged mountains and its own indigenous animals such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra and the Somali ostrich.

Samburu game Lodge is set in 10 acres of pristine riverine forest on the western bank of the Uaso Nyiro River within the Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya.
The Samburu National Reserve, conjoined with the smaller but no less attractive Buffalo Springs Reserve, lies a mere 320 kilometers from Nairobi.
Samburu national park is a home to varieties of animals and birds rarely seen in other parts of the country. Here are to be found the Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, the reticulated giraffe and Blue Shanked Somali ostrich.
Rooms numbering 61 in total, are decorated using the finest materials and fabrics. All accommodations have en suite bathrooms, some with baths, and all have private balconies overlooking the river.

SAMBURU INTREPIDS
Perched on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the heart of Samburu National Reserve, Samburu Intrepids enjoys a unique perspective of one of Africa’s most celebrated wildernesses.
This luxurious tented lodge offers 27 modern tents with a private view over the wildlife-rich riverbanks. The spacious tents boast the very latest in luxury camping, with soft four-poster beds, handsome mahogany closets and writing desks, and en suite bathrooms with steaming hot showers. The bathrooms also offer twin washbasins and flush toilets.
Because of the warm climate, Samburu Intrepids’ public areas are all palm-thatched and open to the elements, raised on stilts to catch the cooling breeze blowing off the river. The Elephant Watch Safari Camp is perched on the sand banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, beneath big Kigelia trees and Acacia Elatiors in an area that is home to some of the largest Elephant bulls in Samburu who can often be spotted resting under an acacia tree or picking pods beside the tents.
Elephant watch safari camp which is eco-friendly, accommodates a maximum of 10 guests with its wide and breezy desert tents, individually styled, draped with colorful cloth and unusual furniture.
Rooms at the Elephant watch safari camp are adorned with bright swathes of cotton fanning in the breeze, huge cushioned sofas, woven local mats and special beds and furniture made from fallen trees. Ashnil Samburu Lodge boast of 24 exclusive comfortable deluxe tents each with perfect views of the Ewaso Nyiro River, the surrounding beautiful landscapes and all the animal life that this brown river supports. This lodge is wheelchair friendly and it offer accommodation in tents for the disabled.

SIMBA SAMBURU LODGE
Samburu Simba Lodge is located in Buffalo Springs National Reserve 300 km north of Nairobi, within Isiolo District.
Buffalo Springs is located on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in Kenya; on the other side of the river is the Samburu National Reserve and nearby is the Shaba National Reserve.
Samburu Simba Lodge overlooks the Buffalo springs and the Ewaso Nyiro River.
You can see the river banks and the waterhole from either your room terraces, at the lodge or restaurant. Herds of elephants roaming by, troops of baboons trying to drink water but hesitant because of the crocodiles in the river.
Samburu Simba Lodge offers accommodation in seven (7) villas of ten rooms each – six on the ground floor and four on the first floor of which two rooms are interconnected. All the guest rooms are strictly NON-SMOKING, a separate designated smoking area is available within the public area.

Joy’s Camp is built on the site of Joy Adamson’s tented home in Shaba National Reserve. The site was also home to Penny the leopard, the heroine of her last book. The camp overlooks a large natural spring where elephant and lion jostle for watering rights with herds of buffalo and the rare desert species of Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe and Grevy’s zebra.
Joy’s Camp offers safari accommodation in 10 sumptuous tents decorated with Boran/Somali cloth design, handmade glass and the vibrant fabrics of the local nomadic tribes creating a chic, sophisticated and stylish camp. SAMBURU SOPA LODGE
Located inside the Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya, Samburu Sopa Lodge is built atop high ground allowing panoramic views of the vastness of Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond. The lodge is built to reflect the architectural heritage of the local communities whose sons and daughters make up the majority of the work force at the lodge. 15 cottages, each with two bedrooms are built in an arch formation on either side of the public areas to surround the waterhole but leaving a wide gap to allow the animal’s free movement to the water.
Our guest cottages follow the exterior design of centuries-old, traditional Samburu housing, but the similarity stops there. Instead, our structures have much higher ceilings; far larger windows; much more floor space; and en-suite bathrooms.
The dining room is on a slightly higher level than the lounge, and it shares the totally open-air atmosphere to allow you views over both the waterhole and the panoramic landscapes beyond. While artistically positioned wall niches house various forms of natural decorations, and the furniture follows traditional designs, the curvaceous buffet tables and live cooking areas offer a wide selection of delicious fusions of different culinary disciplines coupled with garden fresh fruits and vegetables.
The swimming pool is a pleasure in this arid, semi-desert region with its dry heat and low humidity. Tiled with various shades of blue mosaic tiles, and surrounded by a local flat stone sunbathing area, our large free form pool, with its adjoining children’s pool, outdoor shower, and sunken bar as well as views over the waterhole, provides you with the perfect solution when you want to be outdoors but keep cool at the same time.
